What's new in Eagle

With this release we introduce Appraisal Segments into Eagle, a new feature that will help you to manage and stay on top of your appraisals. Appraisal segments work the same way as contact segments and address segments.

Appraisal segments are a dynamic list of appraisals that meet a certain filter criteria that you have set, allowing you to quickly and easily access them at any time. You can think of appraisal segments kind of like a saved filter but with added functionality.

You can also create your own appraisal segments, either start form scratch or edit an existing segment. Once you've created a segment you can share it with other users, teams or offices in your account, allowing you to standardise segments to be used within the business.

Visit our help article for more information on how to use segments.

  • Added the Price Feedback column to the PDF Call list generated from the Buyers table (recently added as part of bulk actions)
  • Updated the projected commissions section on the updated commission reports to also include commissions where no payout date has been set

Mobile app

  • Added note attachments to be visible in the activity feed including the ability to share, save to device (to view) and delete
  • Replaced all filter pickers on index pages to use modals
  • Added sorting to the Listing > Buyers tab. Sort by last contacted, interest level, inspections, price feedback, contract request status and offer.

With this release we introduce a new and improved sidebar on the Addresses screen to make it easier to manage addresses and see important information at a glance.

The sidebar follows the same new styling and functionality previously added to the contacts sidebar. The main improvement you'll notice is the Ownership widget. Many of you will have years of address history data which previously was only visible through the activity feed. I'm sure you'll agree that it is a huge improvement to have all the address history showing so succinctly in the ownership widget.

We have also added a few minor improvements such as the ability to create a listing from the address with the 'List this address' button, as well as a new Address tags sidebar widget where you can see and edit which tags the address belongs to.

  • Released new Address Segments feature, more info here
  • Released new Bulk Actions feature to the Buyer table, more info here
  • Added contract status changes to the activity feed, will show on the contract itself as well as the associated listing and address
  • Added ability to automatically populate bank details on invoices. Set the default bank account to be used on invoices in the Settings > Bank Accounts section (requires the 'Manage Bank Accounts' permission)
  • Added ability to create an address from the address picker. This is especially useful when creating a new ownership from the contact record, allowing you to create the new address without having to navigate away from the contact record.

  • On a Contract, in the Commission tab, in the Expenses section, we have introduced the GST Free / GST Applies concept (similar to what already exists on agent deductions). Previously the system always assumed GST applied to expenses, now you can set if GST should apply or not to each expense.
  • In the Trust Accounting module we have created a new Ledger screen so you can see a running balance of the ledger.
  • Added new Address filter strategy > Property > Sold Date > is less than X days ago
  • Added new Property type filter to appraisals and contracts

Mobile app

  • When launching the create event slide up, the meeting type will now auto populate based on the page it was launched from. Eg. When creating an event when viewing a rental appraisal, the meeting type will auto populate to 'Rental Appraisal'
  • When viewing past inspections, instead of showing number of registered and confirmed it now shows number of contacts that attended

With this release we introduce Address Segments into Eagle, a new feature that will help you to identify addresses in your database for many purposes including prospecting, marketing and data integrity. Address segments work the same way as contact segments.

Address segments are a dynamic list of addresses that meet a certain filter criteria that you have set, allowing you to quickly and easily access them at any time. You can think of address segments kind of like a saved filter but with added functionality.

We have released address segments with a suite of default segments you can use straight away. You can also create your own address segments, either start form scratch or edit an existing segment. Once you've created a segment you can share it with other users, teams or offices in your account, allowing you to standardise segments to be used within the business.

Visit our help article for more information on how to use segments.

With this release we introduce bulk action functionality to the buyers table making it super easy to communicate with buyers via email or SMS and to generate curated call lists.

Simply click on a contacts avatar image to select a contact and extra options will appear to select all buyers, select none, send an email, send an SMS or generate a PDF call list. At the top of the avatar column is a tick icon which you can use to select all contacts on that page.

When there are more than 20 buyers the page navigation at the bottom allows you to click through different pages and the new bulk actions feature will remember your selection when changing pages, allowing you to curate a list of buyers to communicate with.

Combined with the buyer filters and column sorting, the bulk actions allows you to quickly drill down into your buyer list and communicate quickly and with ease.

The next thing we are working on with the buyer table is adding more columns, adding custom field columns as well as adding more flexibility around which columns show and in what order. Stay tuned!

  • Adding and removing listing agents on a listing now shows in the listing audit log
  • On a Contract, when you click 'Print Contract Details' in the top right corner, the agents on the PDF generated are now the listing agents on the listing rather than the agents who earned commission on the contract
  • Updated the CoreLogic integration authentication, this should help with some users experiencing timeouts when attaching addresses or importing streets
  • On a Contract > Commission tab, in the Expenses section it now shows a total % and $ amount of expenses

Mobile app

  • On the Inspections > Attendees tab > Send documents, and also the Property > Documents tab, when sending documents you can now multi select which documents should be sent.
  • Added contact legal name and company name to contact tool tip
  • Added Listing filters:
    • Lease price
    • Sale Price

Paying commission into an agent ledger from the contract

With our newly upgraded commission worksheet, you can now make payments from the agent allocation in the Commission tab of a Contract straight into the agent ledger. Simply click the 'Pay to agent ledger' button to launch the agent ledger transaction popup with all the information prefilled. Transactions to the agent ledger from the Commission tab also show in the agent allocation section.

  • Added new Transactions section to Contracts > Commission > Agent allocation to manage payments from the contract to the agent ledger
  • New button in the agent allocation 'Pay to agent ledger'. If an agent ledger doesn't exist for that agent it instead shows an 'Add agent ledger' button to create one.
  • The new button launches an agent ledger transaction popup with details pre-filled from the contract agent allocation
  • Once there is at least one transaction from the agent allocation to the ledger, a new Transactions section shows all transactions and a running balance payable for that allocation
